Top spot is a great place to be and the Henryetta Lady Knights are riding high this softball season.
With a perfect district record and posting 17 wins against two season losses, the HHS girls are becoming a contender in the fall game. They are top ranked in district with Beggs in second place. The Lady Demons have 15 wins and five losses so far this year and also hold a 7-0 district win/loss record.

Avery Miller took the win in the six-inning game giving up only one run on three hits.
Henryetta started out with two runs in the first inning when Autumn Blackbear singled to center scoring Jaylynn Joslin and Katelyn Dwiggins.
The HHS girls would add three more runs in the bottom of the second on a grounder from Kasedi Gobin scoring Kaylie Hamric and Joslin then Gobin would cross the plate when Miller slammed a grounder to center.
Run number six came in the third with Hamric scoring putting the HHS team well ahead.
In the fifth, Henryetta posted three more runs with Joslin, Blackbear and Emily Smith scoring on RBIs.
Eufaula’s pitching allowed the Lady Knights to load up the bases in the bottom of the sixth and that set the stage for Lexi Lollis and Joslin to score on a walk and single ending the game.
Joslin went four for four Monday night with Blackbear getting three hits in her four times at bat.
The six innings Miller pitched Monday brought her season total to 98. She has given up 68 hits and 24 runs while striking out 113 batters.
