The ripping sound of motorcycle engines echoded throughout Nichols Park this weekend as the AHRMA vintage motorcycle racing series was held. Contestants from all over the United States converged on the park from Friday through Sunday to race first a cross country course then compete on a challenging motocross track. This is the third time the races have been held here and, according to race organizer Trampas Parker, draws some of the top talent in the vintage racing community.
