High winds swept through the Henryetta area late Sunday night leaving a trail of broken limbs and downed trees behind. Electric service was interrupted for about 1,500 people when a PSO feeder line at Fourth and Barclay was hit by falling limbs. That knocked out power for around an hour. The strong winds ripped the roofs off the baseball and softball visitor's dugouts. At the baseball field, the roof material was thrown into the McDonald's drive-through striking a light pole and knocking it down. Several massive tree limbs were blown down across streets blocking them for a short time. Some of the more visible damage downtown was the flag poles attached to street light poles. A number of the flags were nearly ripped from their staffs while others were bent nearly double.
