The start of a new decade in 2020 means the Federal government will be counting heads across the country.
U.S. Census workers are being sought to help with that decennial project.
A hiring event will be held at the Henryetta library Nov. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone wishing to work for the Census department can apply at that time.
The job pays $14.50 per hour and includes a 58 cents per mile gas allowance.
“People can work flexible hours, get paid weekly and we include paid training,” said Lisa Anderson from the Census Department.
She said applications can also be submitted online at www.2020census.gov/jobs
