Misty Dawn Sweeney was the only candidate filing for Henryetta school board by the Wednesday deadline.
She will retain the office 5 seat she was appointed to earlier this year. Because she was the only person filing, there will be no election held in Henryetta.
That is not the case in Morris where Phillip G. Ward and Kendall Warren are the two candidates seeking the office 5 position. Their names will be on the April 7, 2020 election.
In Wilson, Deborah Ann Wynn filed for the office 3 position, Dawnyell McKinney filed for the office 4 seat and Jimmy Floyd was the lone candidate filing for the office 5 position.
At Dewar, Rick Chisum will take the office 5 school board seat.
Preston had Tyler J. Roberds as the lone candidate for the school board office 5 seat.
Beggs saw Matthew J. Lee file for office 3 and Rick Martin file for the school board office 5 position.
Twin Hills will seat Chuck Lewis in the school board office 1 position and David Miller for the unexpired office 2 position.
Green Country Technology Center’s office 3 position will be filled by Marilyn Mabrey Sulivant.
Okmulgee had Lynda S. Barksdale file for the school board office 5 position and Mickey J.Baldwin as the lone candidate for the ward 2 city council job.
