Green was captured at another home with the help of a Muscogee Creek Nation Lighthorse K9 officer. Lawmen trailed the 29-year-old Okemah resident to a Clearview home where he was found hiding in a room. The K9 was sent into the room after Green failed to comply with demands to come out. He was treated for minor injuries and taken to the Okfuskee County jail.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Green was living at the home at the time of the double homicide.
The deaths were discovered after reports of a house fire brought authorities to the home around 3:30 a.m.
The search for Green centered around the Clearview area after he reportedly knocked on the door of a home seeking help. That homeowner turned him away and notified law enforcement officers.
