Voters approved the bond requests at Dewar and Wilson Tuesday with less than 100 votes cast for each school.
At Dewar, the first proposition seeking $85,000 in bonds to pay for repairs and remodeling the school sites was approved with 59 votes in favor and 17 against. That second questions, seeking $240,000 for purchase of new buses was approved with 58 votes for it and 19 against.
Wilson voters authorized $490,000 to be spent for repairs with 49 votes in favor and 23 against. The question of buying new transportation equipment at a cost of $85,000 had 55 votes for and 17 against.
Both schools needed two-thirds approval by voters for the bond issues to go into effect.
