The state fire marshal has been called to investigate a blaze that damaged Bartolina’s Bar early Wednesday morning.
Henryetta fire chief David Bullard said the fire was believed to have started at the rear of the building around 5:30 a.m. It caused significant damage to a patio and the back wall of the nearly 80-year-old business.
Fire departments from Henryetta and Schulter responded to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze. The interior received significant smoke damage.
During the past year Barolina’s had been undergoing some major remodeling including new wiring and a roof.
