Henryetta had one champion crowned at the state track meet and saw two silver medals come back to town.
HHS senior Colton Green got double gold when he win the 1600 meter and 3200 meter runs. Green finished the 3200 meter with a time of 9 minus, 36.73 seconds. That was just off his state record 9:36.37 from last year. He broke the tape first in the 1600 meter run with a time of 4:26.16.

Those two wins gave him six state champion titles in the past two years. He recorded first place in the two mile cross country run two years in a row as well as the 1600 meter runs.
Silver medals were won by Mykaela Wallace in the 100 meter hurdles and Daisy Van Meter in the girls 3200 meter run.
In the 100 meter hurdles, Wallace posted a 16:63 time, just behind the 15:44 from Heavener's Jodie Hill. The girls were one and two in the preliminary hurdlers.
Wallace also came in sixth in the 300 meter hurdles with a 48.75.
Van Meter was 14 seconds behind the state champion. She covered the 3200 meters in 12 minutes, 15.86 seconds.
Henryetta hopes of repeating the 3200 meter relay championship came to an end Tuesday. The HHS team finished in sixth place. Henryetta relayers came in 15th in the 1600 meter relay.
Another HHS senior, Montgomery Notley placed sixth in the girls discus and ninth in the shot put. Her best discus throw was 110 feet, nine inches. That was 11 feet away from the first place spot. In shot, she got ninth with a throw of 33 feet, three and one half inches.
First time Henryetta pole vaulter Brittany Elam tied for tenth place with an eight foot jump. The champion vault went to Racee Gibson, Okemah, with 11 feet.
