Henryetta schools will be putting emphasis on science, technology, engineering and math in the coming years.
That means more students are going to be relying on today's technology as part of their studies.
One henryetta teacher is trying to ensure her students have the tools they need so she is trying to purchase ten Chromebooks for her children.

Krystal Rogers teaches science at the Henryetta Middle School. She is looking for donations to get the $2,600 needed to purchase the electronic devices.
"My students have the desire to become successful competitive individuals in their future college and career endeavors," she said. The addition of the Chromebooks would let her students in research as well as lab practice and explore new ideas.
Rogers set up a web page with donorschoose.org looking for donations. She said anyone can donate through that site.
So far, two donors have stepped up but she has until June 22 to raise the total.
