Delsin Albert Gouge, a resident of Okmulgee, died March 21, 2020 at the age of 28. He was born Oct. 19.1991 to Wilford Gouge and Rhonda Gouge in Tulsa. He was later adopted by his aunt and uncle Evelyn Wood and Mike Wood.
Delsin grew up in Oklahoma City where he attended school and later transferred to Eufaula Boarding School where he attended for a short time and played football for the Eufaula Ironhead team. He grew up attending church at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness and later became a proud member of Hillabee Ceremonial Grounds.
Delsin is preceded in death by his father Wilford Gouge; his paternal grandparents Albert and Sallie (Spaniard) Gouge; uncles Wilbur, Ernest Ray and William Gouge; aunts, DeeAnn Gouge, and Nancy Gouge-Deere; cousin Stephen Albert Gouge; brother Michael Brandon Wood; his mother Evelyn M. Wood of the home; "Aunt Liz" Elizabeth Townsend of Okmulgee, Tina Gouge of Houston, TX, Helen Gouge of Wetumka, OK, and a host of cousins and other family and many, many friends who loved him very much. as well as Christianne of Indiana, Shawn of Oklahoma and Anthony of Tulsa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Phillip Deere Round House in Okemah with Chebon Kernell officiating. Interment will be in Gouge Family Cemetery in Hanna. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
