A Henryetta woman was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon following a stabbing incident earlier this week.
Kelly Baker was arrested by Henryetta police Wednesday morning according to police chief Steve Norman.
He said officers were called to Henryetta Hillcrest hospital in reference to a stabbing.
The victim said she was attacked at a home in the 200 block of North 15th in Henryetta.
"Officers went to the area and saw a woman, later identified as Baker, walking along the street," Norman said. She was said to have blood on her clothing.
A knife was taken from Baker by officers. She was taken to the hospital for treatment then booked into the Okmulgee County jail.
Chief Norman said the stabbing victim was treated for her wounds and released.
