The next two weekends will be busy ones in Henryetta.
Starting June 5 and running through June 6, the annual Jim Shoulders Roundup Rodeo will start its run at Nichols Park.
broncThat is a two-night event with a special mutton bustin’ performance set prior to the rodeo action each evening.

Held at the Jim Shoulders Living Legends rodeo arena, the events will start at 8 each evening. Adult gate admission is $10, youth 6-12 years old is $5, and 5 years and under are free. At the Saturday night rodeo, David Hardage will open the events with the National Anthem. Hardage performed the National Anthem at the Bull Riding Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Fort Worth, Texas last year
As a precaution, spectators are encouraged to wear masks and hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the rodeo grounds.

The next weekend is the summer installment of the popular Henryetta Cruise Knight.

On Saturday, June 13, Henryetta’s Main Street will be buzzing with vehicles of all descriptions and models as local residents and visitors alike show off their rides.

This year there will not be any inflatable playgrounds for the youngsters due to the COVID 19 issue but the city of Henryetta is providing hand sanitizing stations along Main Street.

We are inviting everyone to come out and have fun as Oklahoma moves into phase three of reopening,” said Chamber of Commerce executive director Roy Madden. “We recommend anyone attending either event to practice social distancing and wear masks when appropriate.”
