A limited form of summer workouts has been announced for Henryetta athletes.
HHS athletic director Justin Been said the first phase from June 2 through June 14 will allow athletes to use weight rooms gym and locker rooms as long as they keep at least six feet between them, and have a temperature of 100 degrees or below.
This initial phase will allow coaches to have face to face contact with their students and all coaches will be required to wear a mask during this time.
No practices will be included nor will any camps or league play be allowed
The school is requiring all locker rooms and restrooms to be sanitized before use and the end of all workout periods.
No players are to share water bottles, towels, gloves or any other personal equipment.
Athletes are required to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer every 30 minutes.
In the weight room, only two people will be allowed on any one piece of equipment and spotters must wear a mask.
Been said the second phase will be announced around June 12. That phase will start June 15. “Adjustments or some restrictions may be lifted during this phase,” he said.
