board officeBy the time classes are schedule to start in Henryetta, the board of education should be in their new offices. School officials are renovating four unused classrooms in the Early Childhood center building for administrative purposes. The school board has been meeting in the former Henryetta municipal pool bath house for over a decade. The nearly 40-year-old building is showing its age with foundations starting to settle badly resulting in a nearly three-inch gap between the foundation and the back wall. New office partitions and sheetrock is being placed in the EEC building. Superintendent Dwayne Noble said the project is using school building funds that could not be used for other purposes.
