Henryetta's Lady Knights had to play two innings of stiff defence in order to take a 2-1 win over Deer Creek Saturday in the Broken Arrow Tournament.
A triple by Katelyn Dwiggins that rolled to the fence scored Jaylyn Joslin in the top of the third to put Henryetta in the lead.
That was followed by Shelby Kilhoffer smashing a drive to center for a double scoring Kasedi Gobin in the top of the fourth.
Deer Creek came back with an RBi in the bottom of the fourth but that would be the final score for the 6A school.
