The annual Henryetta Labor Day parade was a little different this year due to the pandemic with fewer entries and a lighter attendance along Main Street.
While the numbers were down, the enthusiasm was just as high as participants and spectators cheered on their favorite floats, cars and walkers.
In the judging, the Henryetta Little Knight fifth and sixth grade cheerleaders won first with Dewar's third and fourth grade cheer team taking second and the HLK third and fourth grade entry p[lacing third.
The entry by the Henryetta VFW Post 539 was the first place winner in the business contest and the End Time Revival Youth float was the top winner in the religious category.
Taking first place in decorated cars judging was the Mattress by Appointment followed by Green Country Powerline in second and Morgan Towing in third.
The union judging saw the IBEW Local 584 entry capture first place and the Heat and Frost Local 64 entry was second.
Pazlye Coronel, the Henryetta Little Miss Labor Day was the winner of the individual float judging with Hayleigh Frazier capturing second and Mrs. Okmulgee City and her hot air balloon basket taking third.
Amy Collins, Petite Miss Labor Day was the winner in the decorated cars.
