A traffic stop Monday night resulted in a drug arrest that took about four ounces of methamphetamine off the street.
jerry chad pippinAccording to police records, Henryetta K9 Sgt. Theran Richards pulled over a car driven by Jerry Chad Pippin for speeding and failure to drive on the right side of the road.
During the stop on Frisco Avenue, Sgt. Richards discovered  a substance believed to be meth and several baggies designed for resale as well as weighing equipment.
Pippin, 47, of Wainwright, was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on complaints of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and failure to drive on the right side of the roadway.meth bag
“This stop got some more drugs off our streets and involved a subject that has a long criminal history,” said police chief Steve Norman.
Pippin has been arrested in several area counties on a variety of felonies including a number of drug-related offenses dating back to 2009.
