Now that school is out, a lot of Henryetta children find themselves facing a couple of problems.
They are looking for some type of activity and, unfortunately, many are wondering way they are going to eat.
Both those issues have been tackled by several area churches starting June 1. It will end July 31.
Partnering with Feed the Children, the churches will be holding organized games and activities for boys and girls 18 years of age and younger.
Activities will start at 11:30 a.m. and run through 1 p.m.
A free lunch will be served to the children during the day.
The activities are going to be set up at McCutcheon Park, the Nazarene playground, Henryetta Housing Authority, Dewar Baptist church and at New Lake Village.
Churches involved include the First United Methodist, First  Christian, Immanuel Baptist, First Baptist, Dewar Baptist, Eagle Heights and Henryetta Church of the Nazarene.
Parents who want to bring their children to the sites will find church members conducting the activities.
There is no charge to participate.
