The Lady Knights made their presence known eat Silo with back to back wins in that tournament Thursday. They battled to a 3-2 win over Antlers then bruised the Hartshorne girls 9-3.
Henryetta started against the Antlers Bearcats using a walk off single in the seventh to take a 3-2 win.
The game opened with Jaylynn Joslin spring on a wild pitch in the first but the Antlers girls would counter with a un in the second on a grounder to center. The Lady Bearcats would go up by one in the fifth on a two-out error.
Henryetta tied it up in the sixth when Katelyn Dwiggins scored on a sacrifice fly.
With two outs against them and facing the possiiblity of extra innings, the Lady Knights saw Kasedi Gobin single to left scoring Joslin.
Hartshorne scored all three of their runs in the first inning but the Lady Knights added two of their own with Dwiggins and Shelby Kilhoffer each scoring on RBIs. A successful double play byHartshoen put an end of the Henryetta charge.
The third inning sounded the end for Hrtshorne when Skylar Morris, Winter Beaver, Dwiggins and Killhoffer had RBI hits. Morris singled scoring one run followed by Beaver getting a base hit on a 1-2 count bringing into more runs. Dwiggins get her single and RBI on the first pitch then Kilhoffer doubled adding the three runs to the board.
Avery Miller took the win for Henryetta allowing three hits and three runs in fie innings while striking out four and walking one.
