As if Henryetta and the area has not had enough rain in the past six weeks, more is expected as Tropical Storm Bill visits.
Meteorologists are saying upwards of eight inches of rain could fall on ground that is already saturated. Once that happens, flash floods are a probability endangering anyone living near lakes and rivers.
Already this week, several short but intense downpours have caused street flooding in Henryetta.
Fire chief David Bullard says there are sandbags still available at the fire station on Frisco. The sandbags were provided by the Okmulgee County Emergency Management office. Sand is available by the railroad tracks on Fourth Street.

He recommended anyone living in low-lying areas or next to creeks and streams to be prepared to put their possessions as high as possible and evacuate if the area becomes flooded.
Okmulgee County Emergency Management director Tim Craighton urged residents to plan ahead for the flooding.
He said they should stock up on food, water and medications and have extra batteries on hand.
Other suggestions include: Make sure your electronic communication devices are fully charged in case of emergency.
Listen to NOAA weather radio broadcasts, local radio and TV reports for current and forecasted weather in your area. If you have a smart phone, the NOAA weather radio app is available as a free download.
Turn around, don't drown. If you approach a flooded section of road, turn around. It is not worth the risk to attempt crossing floodwaters.
If a flash flood warning is issued, leave low-lying area and less flood-prone areas and move to higher ground.
Avoid flowing water. When walking, 6" of water can easily sweep an adult off his or her feet and down stream. When driving, two feet of water can carry an SUV sized vehicle away.
Not all storm drains have clear exits. Any people or vehicles swept into a storm drain can become trapped under water.
