| The Henryetta Bombers 12 and under baseball team members are world series contenders. After coming in second in the OSSSA state tournament Sunday, the Bombers are going to be heading to Kansas City in July. They will be competing in the World Series set to run July 10-14. The Henryetta youngsters were undefeated at the state tournament with four consecutive wins before losing an 8-6 contest against the OK Stars in the championships. The Bombers have a 13-12 overall record for the year. Making up the team are: Alex Hudson, Dax Carter, Jordan Osterdock, Josh Osterdock, Jaxson White, Trevor King, Jayden Mayberry, Blake Nash, Aaron Little, Ethan Palmer and Austin Palmer. They are coached by Chris Carter, Jason White, and Dirk Palmer. Team members are seeking donations to help with the trip and have established a Gofundme page.
