Nola Marie Marlitt of Dewar, died Jan. 4, 2015 in Tulsa at the age of 54. She was born March 23, 1960 in Corning, Cali. to Virgil E. Thrailkill, Sr and Louise (Drake) Thrailkill.
She worked as a cook at various places such as Big John's and Sisters Two restaurant in Henryetta. She also owned her own restaurant "The Whistle Stop Cafe" in Schulter.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Buddy Marlitt, Jr.; two brothers, Tony Thrailkill and Virgil Thrailkill, Jr., and a niece, Stephanie Thrailkill.
She is survived by her husband Dwight Henderson of the home in Dewar; two daughters, Dottie Marie Marlitt McKinney and fiance' Chris Coshatt of Henryetta and Anna May Marlitt Chasteen of Henryetta and fiance Jason Hunter; seven grandchildren: Dove and Michael Chasteen, Harley and Talon McKinney, Seth Coshatt, Buddy Marlitt and Jade McKinney; one sister, Nancy Thrailkill of Mounds; two brothers: Timothy "Buzz" Thrailkill and Terry Thrailkill; as well as nieces and nephews, other relatives and family members of Buddy Marlitt, Jr., and other extended and many good friends.
A memorial service to honor her life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hoffman Baptist Church. Following the service, a dinner will be held at the church for friends and family. Attendees are encouraged to bring a dish if they desire.
