| This year the city has been putting more emphasis on making recreational facilities available to residents. That work has included rehabilitating the beach area at Nichols Park as well as improving the looks of the park entirely. City manager Ted Graham sat down with Thehenryettan.com and discussed the work as well as future projects. He said tentative plans call for the splash pad to be completed by the end of July. Problems with rain and running into rocky subsurface has put that project behind schedule. On the long range plans for Nichols will be adding inflatable devices and rehabilitating the old bath house. |
