Terrell, 37, was apprehended after law enforcement officers surrounded a house on 17th Street. When they entered the home, they shouted out for Terrell to surrender and, after a few minutes he gave himself up.
Another man in the house fled from the area on foot even though officers said they did not have a warrant for him. Because he was not arrested, he was not identified.
Henryetta police were called to the scene to provide assistance.
Terrell has numerous charges of possession of controlled drugs with the intent to distribute as well as assault and batter with a deadly weapon. Those charges have resulted in several years in prison. He was currently under supervision of the district attorney’s office and had not reported to them.
