County voters will be heading to the polls Tuesday Morning for the primary elections. Polls open at 7 a.m. and will close at 7 p.m.
County election board secretary Ashley Carnes said 299 people took advantage of the early vote opportunity and cast their ballots at the county court house.
Absentee ballots must be received by mail no later than 5 tomorrow in order to be counted in this election
Carnes said there are three ballot styles for registered republicans this year and only one for democrats.
Ballot Style 1 includes State House Representative District 24, County Commissioner District 1, and the County Question. Ballot style one only includes voters in Precincts 28 and 29.
Ballot Style 2 includes County Commissioner District 1 and the County Question. Ballot style two includes voters in Precincts 2, 9, 20, 27, and 33.
Ballot Style 3 includes the County Question. Ballot style three consists of all other Precincts in Okmulgee County.
The County Question is a Nonpartisan ballot. Nonpartisan means registered Independent and Libertarians are only eligible to receive the County Question ballot.
