A national FFA title will be returning to Henryetta this fall.
joey martinJoey Watson, who graduated in May, will be receiving his American FFA Degree at the National FFA Convention Oct 29. That convention will be held in Indianapolis, Ind.
Watson has been a member of the Henryetta FFA chapter for the past six years and was the recipient of the State FFA degree this past spring.
“This is the highest degree that an FFA member can achieve within the FFA organization.” Explained chapter advisor Brooke Smith.
She said that was the latest in national convention honors for the chapter.
Earlier the Henryetta FFA Nursery/Landscape CDE team was selected to be going to the national convention to compete. It will be the first time the chapter has attended the national convention.
That team includes Aggie Gillin, Chelsea Harjo, Hulleah Wincle, and Stephen Gouge
