Some 76 pieces of Okmulgee County property will be hitting the auction block Aug. 24.
Treasurer Vonna Lampkins said the property will be going up for sheriff's sale starting at 9 a.m. at her office in the court house.
"We have a list of all the property that may be picked up for $5," she said.
Lampkins said the bidding is open to everyone but cautioned successful bidders must have cash or a certified check. "Personal checks will not be accepted unless there is a letter of credit from a bank or financial institution attached or filed with our office," she said.
All sales are final and bidders are encouraged to do a visual inspection of the properties before the sale date.
Anyone with questions about the sale or the properties should contact the county treasurer's office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 918-756-3848.
