Two Henryetta high school students will be adding their voices in the honor choirs this year.
foster watkinsCaveryn Foster and Camrynn Watkins are going to be part of the Oklahoma Music Educators (OKMEA) and Oklahoma Choral Directors Association (OCDA) All State Honor Choirs.
They were selected after two separate rounds of auditions that started with a field of over 1,800 students from all over Oklahoma.
Watkins will be attending rehearsals and singing in the OCDA choir in Oklahoma City Jan. 12-14. Foster will be in concert with the OKMEA All State Honor Choir in Tulsa Jan. 19-21.
This is the second time for Watkins to be in the all state choir and the third time for Foster.
"I am very proud of these students," said HHS choir director Karen Willis. 'They have worked hard and are using their talents to achieve their goals."
