This has been a tough week for businesses in Henryetta.
A large glass window at the former O'Reilly's Auto Parts on East Main was broken out, a motorist slammed into the Homeland store and a brick wall battered in at Kaleidoscope.
Police say the O'Reilly's window was smashed sometime after Labor Day but not reported for a couple of days. The building has been sitting empty since the auto parts store mored to a new building just a few steps away.
There were no injuries in the accident at Homeland Saturday.truck homeland
A shopper apparently stepped on the wrong pedal and crashed into the brick wall by the west door. Bricks were battered in and a bench was destroyed. The pickup sustained quite a bit of damage by the impact.
Sunday, a break-in was reported at Kaleidoscope on West Main.
Intruders smashed their way through a back wall then ransacked an office and stole some cell phones and I-Pads.
Police are reviewing video surveillance taps to determine if they can identify the intruders.
