While no major city-sponsored fireworks display has been officially announced in Henryetta for 2026, several nearby communities are hosting Independence Day celebrations.

One of the closest destinations is Carlton Landing on Lake Eufaula, where Freedom Fest runs July 2 through July 4. Visitors can enjoy live music, food vendors, children’s activities, a bike parade, shopping, and a fireworks show over the lake on Saturday evening.

McAlester will also host its annual Freedom Fest with entertainment, family activities, food vendors, and an evening fireworks display.
