Donald K. Bookout, a resident of Henryetta , died April 15, 2019 in Tulsa Donald was born to Gilbert Bookout and Frances "Deanie" (Hedrick) Bookout Feb. 17, 1960.
He was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ in Henryetta. He was a graduate of Henryetta High School. Donald played football for Harding University in Searcy Arkansas. He was the owner of the Bookout Chimney Sweep and Air Duct Cleaning here in Henryetta. Donald helped his parents Gil and Frances open up the Bookout Nursery and Garden Center at 410.E Trudgeon in Henryetta
He is preceded in death by his parents. Uncles , Billy Hedrick, Leon Bookout, Kenneth Bookout, Charles Bookout, and H.B. Bookout, as well as aunts, Lorene Lassiter, Mary Bookout, and Oweta Weathers.
He is survived by: sister, Shelley McKiernan; uncle, Gene Hedrick and wife Hope; two aunts, Faye Reed and June Moore; nephews and nieces, Riley Duval, Max McKiernan and Brynna McKiernan; grandmother, Mary Hedrick of Dewar; also by a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Donald will be from 4 to 8 p.m. April 17, 2019 at Integrity Funeral Service. A private family memorial will be planned at a later date.
Linda Collette, a longtime resident of Henryetta, died April 14, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 72. Funeral services are pending with Integrity Funeral Service.
Ronald Glenn Fox, a resident of Henryetta, died April 15, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 72. He was born Jan. 20, 1947 in Henryetta to Waverly Glenn and Juanita (Cunningham) Fox. Ronnie was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army. He worked as a truck driver and later working for the John Zink Company. He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers Johnny and Steve Fox.
Survivors include his wife Patsy Fox of the home; children: Charles Edward Mustin of West Virginia, Carl Eugene Mustin of West Virginia, Larry Ray Mustin of Tulsa and Dennis L. Mustin of Okemah; 15 Grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; mother: Juanita Shandy of Henryetta; sisters: Marilyn Butler of Texas, Debra Fisher of Henryetta; Gail Smith of Texas; brother; Jerry Fox of Texas
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Evangelistic Center with Norman VanMeter, officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the US Army Honor Guard under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
Ladonna S. "Susie" Dodge, a lifelong Henryetta resident, died April 12, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 74.
She was born January 23, 1945 in Henryetta to Lester Minyard and Alberta (Gunning) Minyard. She married the love of her life, Dennis Dodge August 30, 1960 at the First Christian Church in Weleetka. They enjoyed over 58 years of marriage, and to this union one son was born, Steve.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Henryetta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Skip Minyard and Bobby Minyard, a nephew, Shawn Minyard, her mother and father in law, Emmett and Leona Dodge, as well as a brother in law, Bruce Dodge.Surviving her are her husband, Dennis Dodge of the home; son, Steve Dodge and wife Kalli of Henryetta; two grandchildren: Tanner Dodge and Abigail Dodge of Henryetta; sister, Betty Allen and husband Everett of Henryetta; niece, Cindy Rector and husband Greg; nephew, Trey Minyard; six great nephews and nieces; also by a host friends and other relatives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Henryetta with Rev. Brett Wheeler and Rev. Rodney George officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
Phyllis Jean Corbin, Dewar, died April 11, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 80. She was born Nov. 28, 1938 in Okmulgee County to the late Jack Morgeson and Jessie (Gonderman) Morgeson. She attended Dewar Public Schools until the time of her marriage in 1944 to the love of her life, Glynn D. Corbin To this union three children were born, Glenda, Donnie, and Annette.
Phyllis attended and served in the First Baptist Church of Dewar where she taught Sunday School for man years. Together, Glynn and Phyllis owned and operated Henryetta Refrigeration for which she worked as bookkeeper, receptionist, and sales manager.
Phyllis is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Pittman and Jackie Watson.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Glynn Corbin of the home; two daughters: Glenda Conn and husband Mark of Bartlesville and Patricia Annette Paden and husband Phil of Hoffman,; son, Donnie Corbin and wife Annette of Henryetta; 13 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends and other relatives.
Viewing fwill be from 3 until 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 until 11 a.m. Monday at Integrity Funeral Service.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Heath Corbin, Donnie Corbin, David Corbin, John Mark Conn, Timothy Rose, Aaron Rose, Phillip Paden and William Paden.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Monday, April 15 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Paden Cemetery, Paden under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
