A Henryetta area resident, Morris Wade Hall, has been charged with felony charges of sexual battery in Woods County.
Tuesday an arrest warrant had been issued for the 63-year-old Hall, 63, following his arrest in Alva.
Hall had been the director of the Miss Okmulgee County Scholarship Pageant that was held in Henryetta earlier this summer. He was said to have been staying at an Alva bed and breakfast and was going to be a judge at a beauty pageant.
He was alleged to have assaulted a 29-year-old man who was also staying at the bed and breakfast while the man was sleeping. According to an affidavit filed with the court, that man pushed Hall away then left the bed and breakfast.
Two years ago, Hall was the director of the Miss Labor Day Pageant. He has not been associated with it since. He had also volunteered for the Miss Oklahoma Organization. That group's president, Jack Cooper, said the matter is being investigated by that organization.
