| The theft of a truck and trailer in Henryetta Sunday may be tied into a multi-county theft ring. Henryetta police chief Steve Norman said several million dollars worth of large vehicles were taken over the weekend within a 150-mile radius of town. "We had three vehicles stolen and all are believed to be connected to the theft of the semi here," he said. |  |
| Two vehicles stolen Sunday night have been recovered, one in Henryetta that can be traced to a theft in Bristow. Norman said there is a video recoding the same suspects in Bristow involved in the theft in Henryetta. At the same time, a one-ton truck with a crane was stolen from Savanna. It was recovered 11 miles south of Bristow on SH 48. "We also have video in Savanna that we believe will connect that theft to a burglary in Muskogee County," Norman added. Investigators from Henryetta and Savanna police departments as well as Creek and Muskogee County sheriff's departments are working the case. In Henryetta, a 2002 Freightliner and Pace Shadow trailer were taken around 10:30 Sunday night. The trailer had Henryettaford.com painted on the back door. | |
