Since Saturday, law enforcement officers have been busy looking for the person who killed Rebecca Hamilton.
The 62-year-old Beggs resident was shot when she walked in on an intruder in her home Oct. 17.
"We have interviewed many people and served many search warrants," said Okmulgee County Sheriff Eddy Rice.
He said there have been a lot of rumors about arrests but none have been made yet.
A special task force consisting of officers form several agencies have been running down leads in the case.
Complicating the investigation is interference from several individuals.
Rice declined to say what interference was complicating the search but warned it would not be tolerated.
"This is the last warning to these individuals, you will be arrested," he said Thursday.
