Over 400 area high school students got to see job and education opportunities Thursday morning at Okmulgee.
The students, including two busloads from Henryetta, participated in the Muscogee Creek Nation Education and Career Expo held at the Muscogee dome.
On hand were a number of universities and colleges displaying their varous course offerings as well as some employers giving the students options following graduation next May.
Outside the building, students were able to visit emergency services personnel including medical and fire department exhibits.
One of the exhibits, a hands-on driving course, allowed students to don special goggles to give them the opportunity to drive as if they were under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The students had to navigate a special course marked off with safety cones.
