Henryetta high school had two runners take first in the OU indoor track and field competition this past weekend.
Daisy VanMeter captured first place in the 800 meter run  and Colton Green was first in the 3000 meter run.
The HHS team competed in the OU indoor track and field competition that pitted the Knights against several larger schools.
VanMeter had a time of 2:29.04 when she finished slightly ahead of Berryhill's Adrena Mazzei. Mya Powders took 28th in the same run with a time of 3:00.11 for Henryetta.
Green hacompleted his run in 9:06.52. well ahead of the second place runner, Matthew Young from Jenks.
In other individual competitions, Montgomery Notley was fifth in the girls shot put. The had a distance of 32 feet, 10.5 inches. The winning throw was 37 feet, 3.5 inches from Marisa Fleck from Norman.
Henryetta had Kacy Thompson finish 52nd and Lilly Rainwater, 58th in the girls 200 meter dash. That same event for the boys saw dalton Karamer place 42,d, Mark Caron, 52nd and Adam Kleweno 58th.
The girls 400 meter run had Shelby Bullard, Henryetta, capture 42nd place with a time of 1:15.73.
In the girls 60 meter dash, Patience Whitlock was 49th, Missy Barber, 53rd and Zoey Wheeler, 56th. The boys event saw Adam Kleweno place 57th.
Team events wound up with the Henryetta girls finish eighth in the 200 meter relay,16th in the 880 relay and 12th in the 100 meter relay.
The Knight boys took 16th in the 880 and 13th in the 100 meter relay.
