After a day-long search New Year's day, Andrew Eversole was arrested on two charges of shooting two people north of Wilson. Eversole, 24, was apprehended in Okmulgee late Wednesday afternoon allegedly for his involvement in the early morning shooting that day. The incident left two people wounded. The shooting occurred around 6:30 a.m. at a home near Sharp Road and Wilson Road. Deputies say two people were taken to the Okmulgee Memorial Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds then transferred to Tulsa. |
| Eversole was booked into the Okmulgee County jail on two complaints of intentionally and wrongfully shooting another person as well as being a convicted felon carrying a firearm. He had been released from prison on parole last May. |
