Loral Dean Best, a resident of Checotah, died Feb. 7, 2015 in Checotah at the age of 77. He was born Feb. 3, 1938 to James Dean Best and Edna (McGuire). Loral grew up and went to school in Schulter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Best, son, Michael Dean Best, his parents, James Dean Best and Edna Best, grandson, Tony Randolph, sister, Verla Walker, and brother, Lawrence Best.
Loral is survived by two daughters, Mary Lynn Thompson and husband Darren of Eufaula, and Debbie Best of Eufaula; son, Ronald Dean Best of California; grandchildren, Dalton Thompson, Randy Hirsch, April Wisman, and Troy Wisman; great-grandchildren, Abbie Lyn Hirsch, and Logan Chandler; three brothers: Bobby Best and wife Theata of Moore, Lester Best of Okmulgee and James Best and wife Joann of Californa, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Integrity Chapel (410 East Trudgeon St) in Henryetta. Interment will be at Salt Creek Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
