The Henryetta First Church of the Nazarene has a new pastor.
new naz pastorReverend Timothy Cole and his family moved to Henryetta this week from Union, Missouri where he pastored the Word of Life Nazarene Church for over 11 years.
“My wife, Janette, and I are excited to serve in Henryetta.  We are a team in ministry.  We love watching people grow in their relationship with Christ. We are looking forward to great experiences and visions of what God has in store for this Church. We know God has great plans.”
Rev. Cole is a 1991 graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Religion. He was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene by the North Arkansas District Church of the Nazarene July 1, 1994. Tim’s wife Janette received her first local ministers license this year and is working toward her ordination, as well. Tim and Janette have two children Chip, age 16 and Ellianna age 6.
For the past 25 years he has been serving churches in Oklahoma in Tulsa, Wister and Madill, also in Mountain Home Ark., and Salina, Kans. He and his wife have served on numerous District Boards on the Missouri Nazarene District, NE Oklahoma District and SE Oklahoma District.
This Sunday’s worship at HCN begins at 10:30 a.m. where Re.b Cole will preach his first message and be installed by the Oklahoma District Church of the Nazarene Superintendent Dr. Terry Rowland.  For more information about HCN visit www.nazchurch.com, like the Facebook page at Henryetta Nazarene or call 918-652-9608.  The church is located at 718 W.
