For the second time in a week, Okmulgee County sheriff's deputies got in the way of a marijuana delivery.
marijuanaThursday afternoon deputies stopped a vehicle on Interstate 40 and discovered around four pounds of marijuana. The occupants of the vehicle, Chantal Beckett and Seanrique Jahman James, were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. The marijuana was said to have about $16,000 street value.
On Sunday, two Arizona men, Bronislaw Cutter and Cinque Gadson, were arrested after a chase down the interstate from just east of Henryetta into McIntosh County.
The passenger in that vehicle was said to have thrown a bag into a drainage ditch. The bag was recovered containing an estimated $60,000 worth of marijuana.
