A benefit baseball game and home run derby will be held June 25 in Henryetta.
The benefit is to help defray expenses by the William George family after their son, Nathan, was diagnosed with stage three lymphoma and has been undergoing chemotherapy.
According to Hunter Brown, the home run derby will start at 3:30 followed by the baseball game. He encouraged former and present HHS and area baseball players to participate.
Both events will be held at the baseball field behind McDonald's Restaurant and is open to both men and women. If enough women sign up a softball game will also be played.
The cost is $10 to play the game and $10 to be in the home run derby. Admission to the game is $5 per person.
"Everyone is encouraged to attend, Brown said. "It's for a good cause and will ask be a lot of fun."
He said anyone wishing more information can call him at 918-650-2795.
