Some more tennis trophies are back in Henryetta after a pair of tournaments.
tennis champsHHS Lady Knight tennis players Fallon Rodgers and Summer Bryant captured first place in the 18 and under doubles at the USTA Ada Challenger held this past weekend.
The pair overwhelmed the McCoy sisters, Ally and Maci from Durant with an 8-2 sweep for the championship.
Both competed in the singles and Rodgers had to settle for second in the three-day tournament.
She won her opener  6-1 and 6-1 then rode a default to get into the semi-finals. That match up against Kenzie Rains  proved to be a long battle.
Rodgers won the first match 7-5 but lost in the second 4-6  then, after a two hour tie-breaker, she won 12-10. Rodgers went on to lose to Logan churchman 6-2 and 6-2.
Bryant was knocked out of the singles side of the tournament losing her opening matches.
Henryettan Dennis Morris was the 55 and over champion in the Tulsa World Adult Open tennis tournament earlier this month.dennis
Morris easily defeated Kenneth Beck 6-1 and 6-3 in the finals. He swept by Ronald Perdue 6-0 and 6-2 in the semis earlier in the day.
Both Beck and Perdue are from Tulsa.
