The Henryetta Ministerial Alliance is a place of hope to many people in need throughout the year.
Composed of ten local churches, the organization provides food and even money to individuals and families.
This year, according to pastor Kyle Kiner at the First United Methodist Church, the organization has been relied upon more this year than in recent time and that has resulted in a lack of funds.
"Our usual funds that we take up twice a year at Thanksgiving and Easter have been depleted," he said.
The Alliance has scheduled a special love offering July 17 at each of the churches to help build those funds back up.
"The donations will help people with needs such as gasoline and utility bills," he said. The alliance provides up to $25 in gasoline aid a year and $75 for utility bills.
Rev. Kiner said anyone wishing more information about the Ministerial Alliance or wanting to help can contact him at the church by calling 918-652-4452 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
