A three-hour standoff at a Schulter home ended with one man arrested Wednesday.
millsThe incident started around 1 a.m. when Okmulgee County sheriff's officers were notified a man had been stabbed at a home on South 220 Road in Schulter.
When officers arrived they found one person injured. According to Sheriff Eddy Rice, that person was taken to the Hillcrest Henryetta Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect in the stabbing, later identified as Dustin Mills, 25, was barricaded in a neighboring residents. Deputies were told he was armed with a shotgun.
That brought out the Special Operations Team who surrounded the house. Following negotiations, Mills was taken into custody. He has been booked into the county jail on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $6,000.
