Minor injuries were reported following a two-vehicle crash on US 75 north of Henryetta Monday morning.
According to police, a car driven by Adam Burrow, Henryetta, was attempting to pull onto the highway from Maxine Avenue about a quarter-mile north of the US 75-266 junction around 8 a.m.us 75 crash
The car was struck in the left front by a southbound pickup driven by Jody Quiroz, Okmulgee. The impact resulted in the pickup veering into the northbound lanes of US 75 and knocked the car into the west curb of the southbound lane.
Burrow was pinned inside his vehicle for a short time until Henryetta fire department personnel could free him using the Jaws of Life.
Southbound truck traffic was halted on US 75 for nearly an hour until the highway could be cleared. Automobile traffic was diverted down Maxine Avenue. Northbound traffic was restricted to one lane for a short time.
In a separate incident, Henryetta police arrested John Britt this weekend after several windows were broken out of a vehicle.
Britt was alleged to have used a short length of steel t break out three windows in a vehicle parked on Main Street. He was charged with second degree burglary and public intoxication.
