Workers were busy Wednesday morning changing over the stop lights on Main Street. The new LED lights are replacing the out-moded tungsten bulbs that are no longer being produced anywhere in the nation. Also being installed are the red, yellow and green lenses. City council memebers approved spending $15,000 on the new lights to be installed at six intersections throughout the town. The work was expected to be done in one day.
