flocked
The pink flamingos migrated to American Exchange Bank Wednesday afternoon.  Besides being migratory, the pink plastic ornaments are being used as a fund-raiser for the 2017 Relay For Life. According to Relay team member Manda Young, when a person or business gets "flocked," they have to pay a donation to have them sent elsewhere. Young said a person can take out "insurance" or double the price of the flocking, to make sure the birds don't return. All monies raised by the flamingos will be part of the goal for the annual Relay for Life that will be held in April at Cameron Stadium.
