Area seniors will be sharing in $5,000 worth of scholarships from First Family Federal Credit Union.
Marketing director Staci Alford said applications are being accepted throughout the FFFCU market area. Ten scholarships valued at $500 each will be awarded to high school seniors in Okmulgee, Okfuskeem Macintosh and Pittsburg counties.
“In order to qualify for the scholarship, the applicant (or the applicant’s parent/guardian) must be a member of First Family,” she said. “As long as you live, work, worship or attend school in a county they serve, you can join First Family FCU. Seniors and parents can pick up the application up at any of the four First Family FCU locations or online at www.firstfamilyfcu.com.
Completed applications can be dropped off at the nearest First Family location or mail them to P.O. Box 170 Henryetta OK 74437.  The deadline to submit applications is April 14, 2017. High School Seniors who complete applications will receive a First Family FCU selfie stick
