Regent Velda Jo Bradley welcomed special guests, Oklahoma State Regent Cindy Glover Henderson, Vice President General of NSDAR Pat McFall, Honorary Oklahoma State Regent Orriene Denlow, Oklahoma State Vice Regent Sue Allen, Oklahoma State Honorary SAR President Dr. Stuart Denslow, Cushing Regent Sue Cline, Kiamichi District Director Ruth Ann Taylor, and special guests from Tulsa, Carol Cox and Katherine Albertson.
Highlights of the day were a history of the Okemah Chapter given by Okemah Vice Regent Rebecca Hold, a welcoming ceremony for new member June Yahola given by Regent Velda Jo Bradley and Chaplain Susan Barnett, and a special performance by Ruth Ann Taylor of Ada who portrayed Martha Washington.
